Outdoor Vinyl Application Photo Tutorial

Step 1 - Remove Backing |

1. Your new vinyl sticker comes in three layers: A thick, cardstock-like backing paper with grids on one side and a solid color on the other, the vinyl stickers/letters and a clear transfer tape. Lay the entire sticker face down rub your hand firmly over the entire sticker and, starting from one corner, peel away the background paper. |
2. The vinyl will stick to the clear transfer tape. If the vinyl sticks to the backing paper, press all three layers back together at that spot, apply pressure or rub the spot and try again. Be careful that the transfer tape does not fold over and stick to itself. |

Step 2 - Apply Sticker to Window |

3. Line up the sticker in the desired position, but don't let it touch until you're ready. When you're sure of the placement, lightly touch the middle of the sticker to the glass. |
4. Using your hand, a spatula, credit card etc., smooth from the middle out to one side, and then to the other side, avoiding wrinkles. Rub down the entire sticker thoroughly. |

Step 3 - Remove Transfer Tape |

5. Beginning from one corner, slowly peel away the clear transfer tape. If any of the vinyl comes up, stop. Lay the transfer tape back down in that area, rub it and try again. |
6. Enjoy your new vinyl sticker! |
